SPANKING LESSONS to Premiere at CineVegas | May 15, 2007
SPANKING LESSONS, a six-minute live-action narrative comedy directed by David Schmoeller, will premiere at the 2007 CineVegas Film Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The short film will screen Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 3:30pm and Friday, June 15, 2007 at 1:30pm as part of the Nevada Filmmaking series. The film premires at Brenden Theatres located inside the Palm Casino Resort, 4321 West Flamingo Road. A qustion-and-answer session with the filmmakers will follow the screening.

David Schmoeller Completes Filmmaker-in-Residence | March 16, 2007
David Schmoeller has completed a filmmaker-in-residence at Objectifs Centre for Photography & Filmmaking in Singapore. As a resident filmmaker, Schmoeller taught workshops, screened his films for the students and also completed the principal photography for the Singapore segment of his upcoming short film, Wedding Day.

David Schmoeller begins principal photography on his upcoming short film, Wedding Day. Wedding Day will be shot on-location in Paris, Singapore and Las Vegas. Wedding Day tells the story of three brides: one in Las Vegas, one in Paris and one in Singapore. Something unexpected (even calamitous) has happened to each. All three stories intertwine, building to the surprise ending of each segment.
